Christopher Chen

Executive Producer/Senior VFX Supervisor

Reno Studios

Christopher Chen joined Reno Studios about three years ago, when he returned to Taiwan from mainland China, during the COVID pandemic period. Aside from a prolific career in the visual effects and animation industries, Chris was also a co-producer for the CBC’s drama miniseries IRON ROAD/鐵路 (starring Peter O’Toole, Sam Neill, Sun Li and Tony Leung Ka Fai), winner of four Canadian LEO Awards, and the cult coming-of-age movie “5-25-77” (May 25ᵗʰ 1977) produced by Fred Roos (LOST IN 

TRANSLATION) and Gary Kurtz (STAR WARS Episode V: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK), which won the Hamptons International Film Festival, and currently available on Amazon Prime Video.

 

Chris worked as a Development Executive for Startling Imagery, Mr. Gary Kurtz’s production company in London, UK in the 2000s, and he is currently finishing MOAIWIYA, the most expensive series from the Middle East, and Joseph Kahn’s ICK, starring Brandon Routh and Mena Suvari. Also, he was one of the production executives for NEZHA 2 (《哪吒之魔童鬧海》), the sequel to the most successful animated movie in Mainland China, open in Chinese cinemas during this Lunar New Year holidays.

Currently, he is the Executive Producer/Senior VFX Supervisor at Reno Studios, in Taipei, Taiwan.

Seadog(左志中) is an experienced VFX Supervisor with a strong background in film, short film, game trailers, and commercials. He has worked on projects such as "Pacific Rim" and "Onmyoji ZERO". His work has been recognized by numerous international awards including Promax/BDA, Muse, and Novum Design Award. He has been nominated for Best Visual Effects in Golden Horse Award as a Visual Effect Supervisor.

Junichi Higuchi

Producer

Toei Company Tokyo Studio Virtual Production Department

Producer of the Virtual Production Department. After working in sales positions in the advertising and finance industries, as well as serving as a planner and manager at a CG production company, Higuchi joined the Toei T-ZUKUN Laboratory in 2019. He has been involved in video production using advanced technologies such as motion capture and digital humans.

While at the T-ZUKUN Laboratory, he began R&D in virtual production, and in October 2022, he established the Virtual Production Department at the Toei Tokyo Studio. As a producer, he is responsible for team management, studio construction, and project management.

Currently, he is focused on building and implementing efficient workflows utilizing virtual production, particularly for film projects.

PONGPASSAKORN KULTHIRATHUM , also known as KOBORED, is a versatile visual artist, visual projection mapping, lighting designer, and audio-visual performer. With a background in Visual Communication Design, he co-founded " CRIMINOGRAPHIC " and next established

" B.O.R.E.D " both aimed at pushing the boundaries of graphic and motion graphic design. KOR.BOR.VOR. specializes in projection mapping and lighting installation design, He has collaborated with various artists, creating visuals for musicians, music festivals, and site-specific art projects.

Notably, his many Visual and Kinetic lights installation projects combine site-specific art with music performance for a unique storytelling experience. KOBORED has also developed innovative creations such as the Loco-motive series, human-operated mobile visual performance machines. He has worked internationally and has won accolades in the field, including the Mapping Festival's VJ contest in 2011.
